Marina Sirtis born on March 29th, 1955 in London, England is an outstanding English theater, film and television actress best known for her science fiction characters.

Marina Sirtis finished her high school graduation and joined Guild Hall School of Music and Drama much against the wishes of her parents, who did not want her to become an actress. Marina Sirtis finally graduated in television, repertory and musical theater.

Marina began her acting career with the Connaught Theater in Worthing, West Sussex in 1976 appearing in several stage plays including "What the Butler Saw" directed by Joe Orton and Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and several other plays.

Her on-screen career began with a guest role on "Raffles" in 1977 and made her big-screen debut with "The Wicked Lady" in 1983. Her biggest break came with a starring role Counselor Deanna Troi, a half-Human and half-Betazoid character on the television "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in which she appeared in 176 episodes from 1987 to 1994. She has since appeared in several of the "Star Trek" movies and television series that put her on the pedestal of fame making her one of the popular actresses to play science fiction roles based on science fiction television shows like "The Outer Limits" {1999}, "Earth: Final Conflict" {1999}, "Stargate SG-1" {2000} and "Threat Matrix" {2003}.
